What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask for.
What we collect
Your name, company name, email, phone and address, so we can set up your account, reach you and bill you. It’s up to you to keep them accurate and up to date (section 11 of the terms).
We use them to set your price and define what’s covered (sections 19 to 21). They’re kept securely with the rest of your account data, and you give us the right to use them to deliver and improve the service (section 51).
The time, location and photo report for every visit (section 2). We use them to track the work, handle disputes and bill you.
What it’s for
We use your data to deliver the service and to run and improve the app: development, statistics, operations, risk and service levels. We don’t sell third parties any data that identifies you without your prior consent (section 55).
Retention
When your service ends, we deactivate your app access and you can no longer see the data. We keep it securely for up to 24 months, to meet legal obligations or in case you come back. After that, we delete it (key point 8 of the terms).
Who has access
Your Ninja sees only what they need to carry out and track their visits, and can’t use contact details from the app for anything else (sections 49 and 52). We may have to share information when required by law or by a court or government agency.
Your rights
Under Quebec’s Law 25, you can see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected and withdraw your consent to its use, unless a legal or contractual obligation still applies. You can also get a copy in a structured digital format. Send your request to pa@ninjableu.ca.
Privacy officer: Pierre-Alexandre Villeneuve, President of Ninja Bleu, pa@ninjableu.ca.
Security
Data is stored securely on our servers, and card payments go through a third-party processor, never through us. No method of sending or storing data is foolproof, so we can’t promise zero incidents. What we do promise: real security measures, and if something goes wrong, we tell you.
